I put the reasons on this list.
With dotted i’s and crossed t’s
I wrote it with my favorite pen.
It was done with painful ease.
My reasons read like this:
Maybe I shouldn’t feel this way
Maybe too quickly we grew in love
Maybe our timing just isn’t right

It’s never been this easy.

But I’m tearing it up right here, in front of you.
And the truth is something you have to know.
I know you and I are meant to be.
I heard it all in how you said “hello.”
